Dukes Head Hotel Kings Lynn - King's Lynn

The facilities at this hotel are exceptional. The venue serves very very good breakfasts except for the bread. The location is great and lovely, 15 minutes' walk to a social history museum. I would stay here again!

Vegetarian meal at the conference dinner was inedible and, in fact, I had a very bad reaction to it - suspect monosodium glutamate in it - certainly used lots of garlic powder.

We were given budget, huge room with comfortable beds. The food was delicious, with plenty of options. The location was marvellous and brilliant, only 10 minutes walk to The Custom House.

The Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The refurbishment is complete in the public areas and the standard bedrooms. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. We ate inthe dinig room and the food was good as was the service. We shal be coming back.

The hotel was really big n clean, we had a spacious room with loads of character, breakfast was amazin with so many options to choose from, loved the bar area, and the location was perfect for exploring kings lynn. The staff were super friendly.

the heating in our room was a bit too warm n we couldn't turn it down, and we found the evening dinner service could be a little slow with reservations prioritized over walk-ins.

We have booked double room with pretty nice facilities.

The staff were really helpful and polite. In particular, the receptionist was lovely - she took the time to show us some of the hotel, and had a very friendly and vivacious personality. The manager was also very friendly and clearly very proud of the hotel and its potential. The renovation work was obviously a downside, but I think that when it is finished, the hotel will be very good.

See above - the renovations were unobtrusive, but a bit off-putting at first. The other point I would like to make is not about the hotel itself, but searching for hotels which are actually in King's Lynn is difficult - the searches that come up on the Internet give you hotels which are some way out of the town centre - it was a bit of a struggle to "discover" your hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here and loved the buffet breakfast and the cozy little lounge that was perfect for relaxing. There are some neat cozy nooks around the hotel for reading or just chilling out. The bathroom could use an update, but overall it was a lovely experience! 😊

the hotel is under refurb at the moment which doesn't make things easy. Having said that I was allocated one of the new rooms and found it to be clean and comfortable and on a standard to some of the 4* hotel rooms I have stayed in. Parking is good at the rear of the hotel. If you book this hotel make sure you ask for the new rooms....
